Carolyn Joyce Davis Jones 1945 — 2024 , 79, of St. Albans, WV passed away October 5, 2024 at Sweet Briar Assisted Living in Dunbar, WV. She was born January 24, 1945 in Grafton, WV to the late Wallace and Edith McFadden McVicker. Also, preceding her in death was her late husband Joseph A. Davis in 2008. Carolyn was currently married to Clifford M. Jones of St. Albans since, 2016. She was a Christian and attended Abney Street Church of God, St. Albans, WV. Survived by her children, son, Jonathan Davis and wife Laura; daughter Tamara Harpold and husband, Jeremy all of St. Albans; grandchildren Kayla, Courtney, Sophia Davis, Connor Reil, Andrew Harpold; great grandchildren Jaxon Harrah, Draco Davis, Waylon and Weston Neal and... Jerry Wayne Ellis 1940 — 2024 84, of Charleston passed away October 2, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born and raised on Campbells Creek, attended Dupont High School, was a member of Keystone Apostolic Church and was a general contractor. Some of his work included concrete, stone, brick and blockwork. Jerry was always willing to help anyone in need without expecting anything in return. Jerry was a special guy, was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed. Butch left the world after being a profound Christian example to his family and friends. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Temple and shared his testimony of his personal relationship with Christ to almost everyone he knew.
